Donations to individuals
The Centre has created a system allowing every beneficiary to personally choose clothing items, so that they fit properly.
The donations given have a limit of 300 RON per person. This limit is determined based on the beneficiary's social category, his living environment, the number of underage children (minors) in the family and the family's income.
The beneficiaries are handed tickets with a default value and are given instructions on how to use them.
They are scheduled based on order of application and are notified 1-2 weeks ahead of the time and date they have to come to the Donations Centre and use them. The beneficiaries have the right to designate 2 representatives to select the items; they also have to bring something to pack these items (sacks, boxes etc).
Upon entrance the followings are checked:
- the notice
- their identity
- the tickets
People that come to pick the items have 1 hour for each beneficiary. If they can't use all their tickets, they will be rescheduled. Beneficiaries have the right to be rescheduled only one time; if the tickets are not used this time, they lose their validity.
