Socializing and Leisure Time Activities
Alpha Transilvana Foundation supports The Center of Socializing and Leisure Time for young people with disabilities ever since 2006, by providing space for them to enjoy the activities.
The registration for the various groups is made at the beginning of each year; 47-55 young people are registered every year. The socializing groups are led by volunteers coordinated and supervised by a specialist; the activities take place between 16:00 - 19:00.
Socializing groups
During the meetings, the beneficiaries have the opportunity to get to know each other better, and also develop their social communication and interpersonal skills. The groups are held monthly and anyone can participate. This activity has the largest number of participants. The theme of each meeting is related to an event: birthdays, costume parties, Mother's Day, Easter, group activities with young people from other NGOs, the end of the year.
