Support group for people with mental difficulties

The purpose of the group is personal development. Personal development can be achieved with the help of the community of those that have similar experiences.

Who is welcome?

Adults between ages of 20 and 45 that have experienced destructive mental discomfort.

What do we offer?

- a preconceived-ideas-free environment where we listen to each other and talk about daily problems
- we ask questions, share experiences, find understanding
- we grow by sharing our experience

How does the meeting go?

These are weekly 2 hour meetings with breaks. Usually we talk about ourselves and our experiences. The meetings follow the rules of a support group: no aggression, taking responsibility, benevolent attitude.

What do participants do?

We encourage introducing ourselves right at the beginning, but this is not compulsory. If anybody has difficulty talking, he is not forced to talk. Each one of us says what he thinks and is responsible for what he says.

Who we are?

We are a support group for those that have experienced or experience pronounced mental discomfort; the group   is led and supervised by professionals from the Caritas foundation from Alba-Iulia and the Alpha Transilvana Foundation.
